John has many years experience in the retail industry. After being a successful supermarket manager at a number of Coles Supermarkets he ventured into buying his own small business, a deli in the northern suburbs that is still trading today.
On selling the deli, he purchased a mini mart again in the northern suburbs and then he purchased a snack bar south of the CBD.
In 1994 along with his partners he started Retail Brokers which was originally known as the Consolidated Buying Group or CBG
The membership base covers the Eyre Peninsular, the Yorke Peninsular & the Fleurieu Peninsular and there are also members from Broken Hill to the Adelaide CBD.
